We Are Salon Manager Lewis has kick started his new position by perfecting some skills in both colouring and cutting. A day trip to Revlon Professional’s new academy in the heart of Fitzrovia London made for a fantastic day for not only training but also meeting other stylists from all over the country.
He’s kind of a big deal.
Shaun Hall of Mark Leeson Salons is a proud BHA winner, crowned Midlands Hairdresser of the Year 2021 so who better to learn the newest trends from than Mr Midlands himself? The course was designed to reinforce and refine existing skills and build confidence around creative colouring and cutting. “The thing I loved the most about this course was how Shaun diluted the trends to make them more usable in the commercial salon environment. It’s always great fun to go on courses and do really crazy Avant Garde stuff but its sometimes difficult to translate those into everyday use.”
What can we expect to see more of from Lewis?
“I’ll definitely be using the razor cutting skills I learned to create texture and I can’t wait to share the new sectioning and colour placement techniques with the rest of the team.” We’re looking forward to our managers masterclass, let’s just hope he’s not too strict!
