Bringing home the award for the BEST SALON!
The chances are you HAVE already heard the fantastic news but if you happen to have evaded our proud announcements before now; WE WON!
Having been selected as finalists for Salon Awards 2023 finals for overall “Best Salon” in the Kent category, we were invited to the Leonardo Royal Hotel St Pauls in London to one of the most prestigious ceremonies in the hair industry.
The atmosphere was electric from the moment we arrived at the stunning building in the shadow of St Paul’s Cathedral. We checked into our rooms, donned our posh frocks for the evening and headed down to a beautiful drinks reception hosted by the awards, with photographers buzzing around capturing the salon teams nervously anticipating the ceremony. We then took our seats and dined on a spectacular four-course dinner before the prize-giving ceremony.
Presenting the awards was industry expert Sophia Hilton from Not Another Salon alongside Kate Jeffries the founder of Salon Awards. It was marvellous to watch lots of winners to take to the stage in lots of other categories but our wait to the final winners announcement was a breathless one. Finally when the Best Salon category was read out we heard “WE ARE SALON!” and our table erupted with cheers (and some happy tears). Walking up to receive the awards was a blur and it all moved so fast but you can see from the look on our faces captured in the photographs it meant so much to everyone.
Following the awards, we danced the night away with the other finalists and the headline sponsors Revlon Professional at the disco and finally shook off the adrenaline rush along with our heels in the early hours.
